I built Highlighter because I was tired of editing my long tennis sessions on my phone. I wasn't going to post it on youtube, so I didn't need it to be perfect. Just wanted something lightweight that would take the moments I really wanted.I tried AI video editing apps. 1) They were not getting the clips I really wanted. 2) I didn't feel in control 3) I still needed to record that whole video initially. My gallery was getting full. Thus, in the midst of all these trial and error, I decided, why not, build my own, and since I was on Android to build it on my own phone first.
